Hello Friends!

As you may know I live in New York City.   My neighborhood is called Inwood and it’s the most northern hood in Manhattan.  It boasts an amazing and mostly unknown gem of a park, Inwood Hill Park IHP has the only surviving old growth forest and salt marsh in Manhattan. Due to it’s lovely geological features it is home to and a great resting place to many lovely birds.  I’ve included a few below. Let’s call this posting the first in a series of NYC’s Fine Feathered Friends!  Until next time…

 Yours truly, TL
